DSA Newsletter - March 2017

Soon Spring Will Spring

Before you know it spring will be here, beckoning us to shake off our cozy winter wardrobes and press forward with a fresh outlook and a new mindset.  More than any other time of the year, spring offers that special “reset” we all need to re-energize our bodies and renew our minds and spirits. What will present itself to you this spring? Whatever your mind is open to receiving! We sometimes get so caught up in planning every waking moment of our days that we forget to take a break and just let things happen.

Here at Designer Society of America, things are happening left and right. We've shaken off the old and are pleased to present the new, namely our new event calendar which you can read more about below. Spring also means it's time for one of two sessions of High Point Market, which never disappoints.

Our article in this newsletter will have you navigating market like a pro! And last but not least, embracing technology can allow us to work more efficiently, thus saving time for enjoying family and friends. This newsletter includes some of the top designers' fav apps for actual and virtual tools certain to make your life's work―and even your life―a bit easier.

So let's all throw off those throws and slide right into spring!

Best,

High Point Market Road Trip

What has 180 buildings filled with 2,000 booths and showrooms that take 75,000 people from more than 100 countries about 15,796 steps to see it all? It's High Point Market, of course, and the spring show is just around the corner.

Spring Market is April 22-26 this year and newbies have the opportunity to “do market right” by participating in a six-day, five night tour with Soft Design Lab's VIP High Point Market Experience. Pack your bags and join Deb Barrett and Jackie Von Tobel of Soft Design Lab for a week full of inspiration, information and insights. They'll take care of all the planning and logistics, and guide you through the ins and outs of the world's largest home furnishings event, so you can concentrate on seeing stunning new products, making the right connections, getting inspired, and having a great time.

Here are five reasons why you should reserve your seat today for the VIP HPMKT experience!

Reason #1

High Point Market - it's not only the best reason; it's the most exciting home furnishings show on the continent! We'll show you the ins-and-outs and give you VIP access and exclusive destinations that you can't get on your own.

Reason #2

Design Inspiration - What can we say, High Point Market is the center of the design universe for a week in April and you can be at the center of it all.

Reason #3

VIP Access - It's one thing to walk through showrooms during Market; it's another to get the backstory, the brand vision, and the knowledge and skill sets to sell and design interiors. We give you all of that.

Reason #4

We're your Personal Concierge - Soft Design Lab will take care of all of the planning, so you can concentrate on the show and on having a great time. All this and more for less than you would spend on your own!

Reason #5

It's tax deductible!
