Dana Behnke, DB DESIGN +

Dana started her professional career in project management for high-profile, innovative tech companies but her love for all things design couldn’t be ignored. So, in 2018, after truly understanding that life is too short, she took the leap into the design industry and started db design+. Today she is a DSA certified professional designer and has worked on many residential projects in Chicago, Tucson and Reno. Dana grew up in the southwest surrounded by mountains and cacti and has been living in the city of Chicago for the past 9+ years. Many of her design choices are influenced by the parallels and differences between the two landscapes. Her design philosophy can be summarized in three words - lucent, ludic, lagom. - lucent (adj.) softly bright or radiant - ludic (adj.) full of fun and high spirits - lagom (adj.) Not too little, not too much. Just right.
